Yup Misty has an element. What you are seeing there in that 3rd panel is her commanding water from the plants nearby to form a large puddle of water on the track, which she swiflty tells to lunge at Gyra at the right moment. It's very rare for anyone to be born with an element, and it's usually better if you don't have one. Most can't control it well, or at all, so most need help keeping it in check. Luckily Misty is very much in control here. Take that Gyra! ....again!
