So if I'm reading this right... The scanner starts red until the location is locked, then turns green. When someone goes in, it turns blue for others to go through? Oh my, I think I'm trying too hard to imagine what's going on xd... It's what I always do when I read a great story! *w*

Also did you make the Alexo a play on Alexa? I mean it felt sorta obvious...

PS: Why am I getting bad foreshadowing vibes???

Yes, Alexo is a throw back to Alexa and how she functions. =)

When the scanner is blue, it's idle and waiting for someone to come use it. When it's green, it had just scanned someone's comlink and sets up the portal to wherever the comlink user had set the travel plans to. It turns red after the person walks under the 'laser scanner' you see that's on the inner rims of the archway going into the tunnel. It being red is showing that no one should enter until whoever got scanned finishes walking through so it can either A. Stay open if it was told more than 1 person wants to come through. or B. Shuts down the portal and turns blue to await it's next user.

It's red when Misty is approaching it cuz the alien ahead of them is still in the tunnel. I should have made it blue though, cuz I didn't have a panel showing Misty stood there waiting until it turned blue ><
